Welcome to Armadale Academy

Nicola Barker-Harrison

I am delighted to welcome you to the Armadale Academy Website. Our website has been set up to provide you with all the information you need about the opportunities on offer to our young people.

We aim to provide the highest quality of educational experience which is focused around positive outcomes for all of our students.

Our Vision is to inspire, challenge, support and empower our students.  This work is underpinned by high expectations and a strong set of values centred around: achievement in the widest sense; ambition; equity; a positive and respectful attitude and approach; and a strong sense of Community.

In Armadale Academy we provide a wide-ranging curriculum that is focused on supporting students to develop the skills required to be successful in learning, life and work.  Our curriculum offers a range of pathways that ensures that all learners' needs are met, and allows them to progress successfully to life beyond school.

Our Student Support team provide excellent pastoral care within a House structure and this allows us to treat our students as important individuals who are valued, supported and nurtured.

My aim is to work in partnership with parents, the wider community and employers to provide our students, staff and parents/carers with an experience that both supports and challenges them to be the best that they can be.

You can also keep up to date on 'all things' Armadale Academy by downloading our School App.

I look forward to working with you.
