Hairdressing & Beauty
Beauty Skills and Hairdressing are SCQF Level 5 courses available in the Senior Phase. The two courses are delivered annually on an alternate basis.
The courses are delivered on site in our Salon by external training providers with current and relevant experience in the commercial environment. Both courses are internally assessed.
Beauty Skills consists of three units:
- Contemporary Make-Up
- Day Make-Up and Basic Corrective Make-Up
- Bridal and Evening Make-Up
Hairdressing consists of four units:
- Working in a Salon Environment
- Salon Skills
- Introduction to Colour
- Creative Trends
