Social Studies
Social Studies allows students to develop their understanding of the world by learning about other people and their values, in different places, times and circumstances.
Students also develop their understanding of the environment and of how it has been shaped. Learning in this curricular area maintains a focus on the historical, social, geographic, economic and political within a local national and international context.
Students learn about human achievement and about how to make sense of changes in society, of conflicts and of environmental issues. It allows students to make exercise informed and responsible citizenship.
