Parent Parliament

The Parent Parliament plays an important part in the life and work of the school.

The role of the Parent Parliament is to:

  • Support the school in its work with students
  • Represent the views of all parents
  • Encourage links between the school, parents, students and the wider community
  • Report back to all parents
  • Play a role in the appointment of the Head Teacher and Depute Head Teachers
  • Support the school during school inspections

The Armadale Academy Parent Parliament Chair is Mrs Lorena Mombelli. There are four meetings per academic year.  Each meeting begins at 6.30pm and is held in the school Conference Room.

Or come along to a Parent Parliament meeting to ask your question in person and/or find out more about the life of the school. Our meetings next session will be held on: on Wednesday 18th September 2024, Wednesday 27th November 2024, Wednesday 5th March 2025 and Wednesday 7th May 2025 at 18:30 in Armadale Academy.
