In S2 students can opt into an additional Music option. There are two options classes available in music currently; a performance based option called "School of Rock" and an audio engineering programme called "Studio Technology".
In S3 students may choose to study Music Performance. This course aims to develop the performing, understanding and composing skills of students to facilitate progression towards National Qualifications in the Senior Phase.
In the Senior Phase students can study Music from National 4 to Advanced Higher. Pupils studying at this level are able to work independently to prepare solo programmes for external assessment and compose music while learning about the history and context of Western Art Music.
