Qualifications Information for Senior Phase Learners and Parents/Carers

We understand that Senior Phase learners and parents will have many questions about how qualifications will now be awarded by SQA in light of exams not going ahead.

All schools are currently awaiting full details from SQA on their approach to certification this year. They have so far indicated to schools that this will be based on teacher estimates, supported by a range of evidence.

It is essential that in the meantime all Senior Phase learners continue to gather evidence towards their qualifications by completing the range of learning tasks uploaded by class teachers onto Teams, which includes past papers and timed assessments.

Should you have further questions at this stage, please do not hesitate to contact the relevant DHT year head: Ali Lewis (S4) or Jack McKay (S5/6).
